Laura Onono

Laura has always been the go-to person for her friends and family when they needed an issue resolved. Even at a young age, she found herself resolving playground disputes. This led to her getting into the world of insurance after her undergraduate degree in Political Science. While there she wrote contentions and wrote decisions for arbitration cases (auto insurance) for all 50 states in the USA. Coupled with the negotiation and mediation skills she learned while in the insurance industry, her desire to get involved in conflict resolution at a global level led her to Saint Paul/ Ottawa University. There she obtained her Masters in Conflict studies and at the same time obtained her Third Party Neutral certificate. I would like to work together with other peace practitioners to help guide others to peaceful conflict resolution and help empower individuals to retrospectively use the tools we teach to better their lives.
